Advanced Steam Party is an Unreal Engine plugin that adds Steam-based party management to multiplayer projects. Party creation, invites and presence are built on Unreal Engine's Steam beacon networking, so players stay grouped through server and level transitions. Built-in voice chat, ready-up and host controls are included.

It is aimed at cooperative and competitive multiplayer games that already ship on Steam and want friends to stay together across sessions without writing their own lobby, invite and reconnection layer.

Features

  • Party beacons and instant invites - create, host and join parties using Unreal Engine's Steam beacon system.
  • Steam friends list integration - invite or join Steam friends from the in-game interface.
  • Built-in voice chat - real-time party voice with mute and unmute controls.
  • Host transfer and player kicking - switch party leaders and remove disruptive players.
  • Public and private parties - control who can join and send invites.
  • Reconnect system - parties regroup automatically when switching levels or servers.
  • Ready-up and status sync - members confirm readiness before a transition.
  • Custom lobby data - replicate custom party variables to every member.
  • Blueprint-ready integration - every feature is exposed to Blueprints, no C++ required.
